A man in Rubanda is on the run after reportedly killing and secretly burying his cheating wife.
Dismus Muhumuza murdered in cold blood the wife Alibina Tusimomwe 31, after suspecting she was serving her beans to his cousin.
Muhumuza confronted his wife and accused her of denying him sex while serving his cousin Viani Turyahebwa.
Elly Maate the Kigezi Police spokesperson says Muhumuza killed his wife and burried her in the night at one of 2 graves at Kitari cell he had dug ,he later attacked his cousin and hacked him into unconciousness.
The cousin Viani is currently fighting for his life at Kabale referral hospital after being repeatedly cut.
Irate locals at Kitari cell, Kashekyera parish Ruhija Sub County were compelled to mount a search for the wife Alibina after realizing Muhumuza almost killed his cousin Viani,only to find her lifeless body in one of the 2 graves .
Upon this realization the locals burnt down five houses belonging to the suspect’s family.
Maate says police is still hunting for Muhumuza who has since gone into hiding and investigations are also ongoing.
