Serial Killer Musaaizi
Musa Musaaizi the serial woman killer has told police he killed as a hobby for his own pleasure and satisfaction.
Musaaizi was arrested alongside 4 others last week after CCTV footage pinned them in the murder of 4 women and a child.
Musaasizi, aka Uncle, a resident of Mujomba Zone 6, Nakulabye in the Rubaga Division confessed to how he burnt his victims around Kasubi tombs after bonking and dumping their belongings in a nearby pit latrine.
Among the items police discovered in a pit latrine at his residence include hand bags ,national ID ,shoes among others.
“We have recovered phones, shoes, knickers, blanket, and bedsheets that we are going to take for DNA analysis to link them to the deceased people,” Police spokesperson Fred Enanga said.
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga told the media during a joint presser on Monday that Musaaizi recorded an extra-judicial statement at Mwanga II Magistrates Court in Mengo where he admitted to strangling all his victims.
“In the statement, he said the killing had become a hobby that he was getting pleasure out of,”Enanga said.
Ahereza was the first victim , she was three months pregnant.
Musasizi in his statement with detectives which he has also recorded before a Magistrate says he killed Ahereza after suspecting her of being in a relationship with other men.
“I also killed Ahereza’s baby. I stuffed the baby’s body in a laptop bag and I dumped it near Bativa hotel. I enjoyed killing these women after having sex with them. It was interesting seeing them fighting to keep their life,” Musaaizi said in his statement.

Enanga says Musaaizi first approached his victims for a sexual affair and killed each one after suspecting something wrong about them.
“He confessed that after killing the first victim on February 22, three weeks later he killed one Kansiime on March 14 and that he killed two other women on 15 and 16 including a three-month baby,” Enanga said.
Police subjected him to a mental examination and he said to be of sound mind.Psychiatrists and surgeons say he committed the crime in his normal senses.
Police have revealed details behind Closed Circuit Television –CCTV footage showing how Musaaizi, tkilled his victims.
Enanga says he used purchased fuel from Kobil petrol station in Nakulabye to kill his victims.
Enanga says the CCTV cameras obtained from Kobil petrol station showed Musasizi purchasing the fuel from the station before moving on to where he burned the victims from.
The police mouthpiece says more footage captured from security cameras showed the suspect also buying empty plastic bottles that were placed inside sacks where dead bodies were.
Musaaizi was busted by a joint security team of the Police’s Crime Intelligence Directorate and the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence(CMI) on Tuesday last week.
Enanga adds that Musaaizi took advantage of curfew time to put the bodies of the victims in sacks and later dump them before setting them ablaze.
