Mr. Update Served Documents
All is not well with the Kawempe North MP-elect Muhammed Segirinya AKA Mr update who is currently on remand at Kitalya government prison for inciting violence.
The MP to be has been served documents over fake academic papers he presented to the Electoral commission to secure a spot to compete in that position.
The order to serve Segirinya was given by high court judge Emmanuel Baguma to his rival’s legal team after they sought permission to have a special service for the jailed MP elect .
Baguma on Tuesday granted permission to lawyers representing Sulaiman Kidandala to give him the documents through the Uganda Prisons Services.
The lawyers had told the court that the Segirinya who is the respondent was arrested for holding a protest in down town Kampala the very day they had planned to give the service.
They also explained that the the period in which they had to serve Segirinya was expiring and it was within their legal means to go to high court for permission.
Kidandala a former aspirant in the Kawempe North polls dragged Segiriny and the EC to court seeking to nulify his victory over forged academic documents .

He challenged Ssegirinya’s victory accusing him of forging both O and A level certificates to get nominated.
Kidandala who came second petitioned the Uganda National Examination Board requesting for Segirinya’s academic papers.
After UNEB verifying Ssegirinya’s documents (who was called Richard by then before converting to Islam) and found out that the said index numbers actually belonged to female students.
UNEB also stated that U0053/754(2009) was candidate Nabadda Maureen from Mengo Senior Secondary School and not Segirinya Richard from Pimba Secondary school.
