A woman and her 5-year-old son are nursing grave injuries in hospital after the house they were living in was set ablaze by her jealous hubby.
The injured have been identified as Nasamba and her son Kasibante Umaru who are currently admitted at Kiruddu hospital.
The fuming husband has been identified as Ssaali Moses a local from Gogonya Bulenga B village,sumbwe parish in Wakiso district.
Luke Owoyesigirye the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police mouthpiece says Saali set the house ablaze after suspecting his wife was bonking another man.
Locals in Bulenga claim Ssaali suspected that Nasamba would always sneak her boyfriend into the house while pretending he was simply a friend.
The locals also allege that Nasamba would spend long hours with her unidentified boyfriend while her husband was away and sneak him out whenever she knew he about to return.
Owoyesigirye says Ssaali Moses has been caged at Bulenga police post as investigations continue.
