The Grade one Magistrate’s court has finally given bail to the Kawempe North MP-elect Muhammed Segirinya after two failed attempts.

Ssegirinya presented 3 sureties including Patrick Kayongo a lawyer and MP Elect for Ntengye South -Kayunga district, Robert Mawanda an engineer at Nakawa, and Nyeko Derrick-MP Elect Makindye East who were each given a non-cash bond of 50 million.

Ssegirinya who appeared before the Buganda road magistrate’s court via video conferencing already looked frail and unwell with a cannular on his hand.

The state attorney Keko Joan who is the prosecutor presented 3 witnesses including ASP Flavia Musimeta OC Mini price police, ASP Kijampola Erias-Investigating Officer in the case, and ASP Nahamya David-Kampala Central Police Station Operations Officer.

While cross-examining the OC Musimeta Ssegona squeezed her to prove that she recorded the police statement when Ssegirinya was arrested which she failed.

He went on to question her academic qualifications and asked her to explain to the court the details of her schooling but she failed to remember .

After a series of questions Musimenta asked the grade one magistrate to shield her .
