Last month we exclusively reported to you here how singer Rema Namakula and boo, Hamza Ssebunya had teamed up to buy off a hospital.
Hamza Ssebunya confirmed in an interview that they acquired the Almeca Hospital, a medical facility in Jinja City before setting off to Dubai to celebrate Rema’s birth. While in Dubai Rema kept on updating Online in-laws with exciting pics as the couple made memories.
According to close sources, the couple bought this Medical Facility found in Kyamaggwa Village in Mafubira Sub-County from owner, a one Nelson Lufafa at fee totaling to UGX 800M.
Hamza explained that he decided to try out another venture in the area he understands most. He further added he chose to buy this health center in Jinja because the area is suitable for business.
“I developed interest to buy the facility in Jinja because I looked at the business aspect and the service delivery in jinja. Also, since Jinja is a city now really makes someone invest their monies in Jinja rather than Kampala. I want to assure the people of Uganda that we are going to set up other branches of Almeca Hospital in other parts of the country”, Hamza explained.
Now in his latest interview, the professional Gynecologist fusses that he intends to turn the hospital in to one of the best modern medical facility for both women and children.
“We did not only acquire the facility…but our mission is to put it to the standard. I will not tell you how much we bought it because that’s not a big issue. What is important is that people should know Almeca will become one of the Best hospitals in the Eastern Region”, he said.
