Kyetume Hosts Express Fc
Express fc will be willing to keep title chase alive when they travel to relegation threatened Kyetume fc in Nakisunga Play ground.

The Red Eagles are four points adrift of leaders URA FC who face off with Vipers on the same day at Kitende.

Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa says that they have to win if they are to keep their title chase alive

“Our preparations have been great ahead of Tomorrow’s (Wednesday) game. We know Kyetume is a stubborn side especially at home but we have one mission and that is to win. The only way we can keep the pressure on the title chase is to win games and that is the mentality the boys have so we pray we execute our plan on match-day.” Stated Bbosa

Kyetume on the other hand are in the red zone of the Uganda Premier League log with 20 points and six adrift of safety.

This will be the fifth competitive meeting between both sides, with Express registering two wins and the other two in the last four ending in stalemates.

The first round league meeting ended in a goalless draw at Wankulukuku. The two sides also met in the Uganda Cup round of 32 tie with the Red Eagles overcoming the slaughters 3-2 on aggregate.

Kyetume played out to a 2-2 draw with MYDA in their previous league game while Express FC beat Police 2-0 last week.

The hosts will again be without suspended Joel Mutakubwa and Julius Ntambi.

Latif Kiyemba, Mujuzi Mustafa and Ezra Bida are also in contention for this encounter.

The visitors will be without Muzamir Mutyaba while Sadiq Ssekyembe returns from suspension.

Express Fc has also been pitted with KCCA Fc in the Uganda Cup quarter finals as it looks to take the trophy for the 11th time in history.
