Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja is on the spot over the methodology used in the registration of beneficiaries for her Ka relief cash from the government.
Legislators have questioned the ‘selective criteria ‘used in identifying and registering vulnerable persons.
They accuse the Office of the Prime Minister of hiccups and lack of authenticity in the registration saying this has sidelined the actual beneficiaries.

Kilak county mp Olanya Gilbert says the 1st beneficiary of the relief cash announced at the OPM didn’t register through the recommended channels.
”When we investigated, we realized that person ‘Godfrey Oloyah’ was not registered by the LC 1 or the normal process. He said he was taken and directly registered in the office of the RDC, there is a problem with this money ”because the majority of the beneficiaries are NRM Cardres ”Olanya said

However,Nabbanja has been tasked by parliament to present a report on the relief cash by Wednesday next week.
Nabbanjja however says it’s difficult to divulge details of beneficiaries to the public for verification because this will infringe on people’s right to privacy.
The deputy speaker of Parliament Anite Amongi at Wednesday’s plenary postponed Nabbanja’s report presentation to next week on grounds that she delayed delivering copies to MP’s in time.
Meanwhile deadline for disbursement of funds to vulnerable groups has been pushed to Friday.
