Mother Sells Daughter
A heartless mother in Mukono has been thrown behind bars for selling off her 9 months girl to a witch doctor to be used in a ritual sacrifice.
The baby’s lifeless body was later found without a head and dumped in a pit latrine.
CID spokesperson Charles Twine has identified the cold-hearted mother as Akiteng Hellen a local from Busoke Village in Mukono district.
Twine says Akiteng had previously negotiated with 3 witchdoctors currently in police custody to give away 2 children at 2.5 m children but was paid only 10,000 shillings for one.

They include; Semujju Ronald, Kizito Alex, and Fred.
All 4 suspects will be charged to court with Murder and Aggravated Trafficking.
According to the Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Bill 2020, a death penalty is imposed on a person who commits the offence where such a person is a parent, guardian, or person having authority or control over the victim of the offence or where the act results in the death of the victim.
