High Father Chops Son
A father in the Ibanda district has confessed to murdering his 9-year-old boy during a fight with his wife.
Vanancio Bainomugisha, a resident of Nyabigoye 1 Cell in Nyamarebe Sub County was reportedly under the influence of narcotics when hacked his child with a panga.
Trouble for Bainomugisha started when he picked a fight with his wife and son for misusing money they had earned from selling pancakes.

Bainomugisha later grabbed a panga and chopped his son Aijuka on the neck and dumped the lifeless body near Bihanga Army Training school.
Godfrey Tabaaro Kanuuma, the chairperson LC1 Nyabigoye 1 says Bainomugisha is a known drug addict who has been abusing people and used to fight every time he smoked drugs.
Boaz Atukwase Tumwine, the Officer in Charge of Crime Investigations Department Kanyarugiri Police Station says that Bainomugisha has on several occasions been arrested for use and sale of Marijuana and domestic violence.
Tumwine says the suspect is currently in custody as investigations into the matter continue.
