Davis Crouch Kasirye will play in the famous yellow KCCA FC outfit this season.

Commonly known among his colleagues as Crouch, Kasirye has played for URA FC, SC Villa, Vipers SC, Motema Pembe (DRC), Rayon Sport (Rwanda) and Zesco of Zambia.

Crouch, 26, is a talented forward who can play across the forward line – left, right and centre. He has the ability to use the ball with both feet which makes him a huge prospect for any team signing him.

However, with his immense talent he has the other side of him that has seen him play for six major clubs at home and across the continent at a tender age.

The little things can turn him off and see him calling off the contract and moving to his next club or return to train with his colleagues at Kansanga KCCA Grounds.

Crouch loves football so much. He will be all over the place playing in local tournaments just for the love of the game. For any team that signs and thinks they are going to ask him to sit on the bench, they will be in for a treat.

Yes, there could be issues of club’s going against contract obligations, but the major talking points about the striker’s happiness is all about how much is he involved.

For instance at Vipers SC he had a host of forwards he had to contend with for starting role and when opportunities were limited, he did not last. The same can be said of his travels in Zambia, DRC and Rwanda. He simply loves to play.

KCCA FC know in him they have signed a forward who should complement their attack force and help them go head to head with Vipers SC and Express FC who are their rivals for the title this season.

Kasirye will certainly come in and improve the club’s attack not only with the goals but also contribute to the goals because of his intelligent use of the ball and pace. Sadat Anaku and Brian Ahebwe will benefit from his arrival depending on how Byekwaso will want to use the pair.

A forward line of Crouch, Ahebwa and Anaku would frighten any back line in the country. It is up to Byekwaso.

However, Crouch is dangerous coming from the wings. His long and quick legs make him a hard to mark forward. He is good in the air something KCCA FC have not had since Geoffrey Sserunkuma’s days.

Byekwaso will be required to give Crouch the parental attention that he needs and should save his tenure at the club which has had many question the decision to allow Mike Mutebi leave.

The plus for him is the additional experience he has added to the ranks of the club. Yasser Mugerwa and Brian Majwega from Ethiopia and URA FC respectively will complement the young talent and mount a title challenge.
