Parents to the victims allege that stray dogs attacked and bit 20 children on Tuesday evening prompting them to seek anti rabies vaccination from the facility.
The claim Kangawo offered to vaccinate them at a cost of 25,000 Shillings per victim, which they agreed to pay.
They later discovered that the vaccines administered were fake and that Kangawo a non-staff member penetrated the facility’s health system to attend to patients.

Wilson Mwanja the Officer in Charge of the facility says no staff member sought permission to get anti-rabies vaccines from their stores prior to the vaccination on Wednesday.
“Anti-rabies vaccines are stored in our cold room system, but, since there was no requisition made for the same on both Tuesday and Wednesday, we have to conduct diagnostic studies aimed at ascertaining what exactly was used to vaccinate the victims,” he says.
Mwanja says the attendance sheet also shows that only 27 health workers were in attendance on that particular day.
Kiira police region’s spokesperson, James Mubi says they have opened up a general inquiry file and the suspect will face three counts of impersonation, fraud and forgery.
