Info reaching our news desk confirms DJ Jacob Omutuuze ‘s arrest in Dubai!
The renown media personality, who doubles as LC3 Chairperson, representing the people of Bunamwaya, has so far spent four days behind bars at the airport!
Sources intimate to us that DJ Jacob was arrested and detained over fake and expired travel documents.
The famed journo and music analyst also confirmed that arrested through a lengthy post on his Facebook page.
He revealed that he has spent over 48 hours at the airport without help!
Jacob also claimed he has nothing to eat at nor water to take, confirming that he is indeed doomed.
“It’s coming 4 days since am Detained at Dubai airport terminal 1 without anything to eat or sleep on and the weather is not good on my side. This people are saying am having a fake passport which doesn’t belong to me plus a fake visa…”, he revealed.
He says the authorities at the airport claim he is Nigerian, not Uganda and his Passport is blacklisted, meaning he will never step foot in Dubai again.
“This is not the first time Dubai immigration to call me a nigerian. My passport is blacklisted to never enter Dubai again but still waiting Dubai immigration for the next step. Pallaso and MARY Flavia Namulindwa Kubula are trying to help me out but nothing is yet out. Uganda Embassy Abu Dhabi I need your help to over come this stupid life am facing. The way the treat people down here human rights should intervene.”
This is not the first time a renowned face from Uganda is involved in such incidents. A bout two months ago, singer Vampino was also arrested and detained in Jamaica, only to be rescued after a week.
Artists like Fik Fameica and Chosen Becky were also deported from South Africa.
