Shameless teacher defiles Pupil
George Obiga 36, a teacher at Mother Claudia Primary school in Rwenkobe cell in Hoima West division has been thrown into police custody for sexually assaulting his eight-year-old pupil at her house.
Obiga 36, was found red handed by the father to the victim, romping the minor as she yelled for help amidst overwhelming pain.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, says on January 27, 2022, Obiga sneaked into the residence of his victim while the Father was away and forced her into the act. He says Obiga watched the father leave the house without properly shutting the door and used the opportunity to enter the house.
Hakiza explains that the father returned shortly after and found the victim lying on top of his daughter as she screamed for mercy, he says the father immediately sounded an alarm, causing the suspect to attempt fleeing the room. However, neighbours who heard the noise rushed to the scene and managed to capture the suspect before he could escape.

They handed him over to Hoima City central police station where he is locked up on charges of aggravated defilement. Hakiza says that the suspect will appear in court once their investigations are complete.
This is the second incident of aggravated defilement in the Albertain region reported in a space of one week. Last week in Kikuube district, police nabbed a 50-year-old man for allegedly defiling an 8-year-old girl.
The suspect, Milton Sunday, a resident of Nyairongo village in Kaseeta Parish Kabwoya sub-county also entered the victim’s home in the absence of her parents and convinced her to follow him to the nearby bush where he defiled her.
Residents found the suspect live in the act after the victim screamed for help.
