Man Utd head into Saturday’s clash on a four-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League, having picked up two wins and two draws since losing to Wolves on January 3.

When you look at the bigger picture, the Red Devils have lost just one of their previous 11 Premier League outings – securing six wins and four draws in that time.

As for Southampton, they came from behind to snatch an impressive 3-2 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday.

They thoroughly deserved to claim all three points, too, having enjoyed more of the back and the majority of attempts.

Saints are enjoying a positive run at the moment, with just one loss coming in their past seven league matches.

It is also worth noting that Southampton have scored in each of their last seven league outings, netting over 1.5 goals on four occasions during that period.

Head-to-head: Southampton haven’t beaten Man Utd since 2016. The Red Devils have won six of the last 12 meetings, with the other six games ending in a draw.
