The first live action on ESPN arrives in the evening of Friday 18 February, as Bournemouth take on Nottingham Forest in an EFL Championship clash (21:40 LIVE on ESPN), while the afternoon of Saturday 19 February brings a double-header from the English second tier, with Fulham v Huddersfield Town and Luton Town v West Bromwich Albion (14:25 and 16:55 respectively LIVE on ESPN).
Fulham manager Marco Silva is chasing promotion to the Premier League and is hopeful the Cottagers can take advantage of the good work they have done thus far in 2021-22.
“It will be a special season if you get success at the end of it,” Silva said. “If we get that success, of course it will be special. For us and our fans. Until then, we don’t win nothing. In the Championship, in this competition, everything can change so quickly. Sometimes we have deserved points, sometimes we didn’t get them. But this allows us to regroup again.”
Saturday evening sees Willem II host Dutch champions Ajax (19:35 LIVE on ESPN), while Sunday 20 February brings a trio of games from the Eredivisie: PEC Zwolle v Groningen, Feyenoord v Cambuur and PSV v Heerenveen (13:10, 15:20 and 17:35 respectively LIVE on ESPN).
Fans of Basketball and American Football will get their share of news and views from the respective sport each night from Monday 21 to Thursday 24 February with live airings of ‘NBA Today’ and ‘NFL Live’ at 22:00 and 23:00 respectively, LIVE on ESPN.

This week on ESPN 2 is all about NCAA College Basketball, with the major games seeing VCU take on Richmond (Saturday 19 February, 02:00 LIVE on ESPN 2); Ohio State v Indiana, Duke v Florida State and West Virginia v Kansas (Saturday 19 February from 19:00 LIVE on ESPN 2); Wichita State v Houston and SMU v Memphis (Sunday 20 February from 20:00 LIVE on ESPN 2); North Carolina v Louisville (Wednesday 23 February at 02:00 LIVE on ESPN 2); as well as Virginia v Duke and Kentucky v LSU (Thursday 24 February from 02:00 LIVE on ESPN 2).
One of the major pieces of news from the NCAA Basketball world in recent times has been Auburn handing coach Bruce Pearl a new eight-year contract to remain on the Plains through 2030. The deal is worth $5.4 million per year, with a $250,000 annual escalator. The deal will max out at $7.15 million during the 2029-30 season and has a total value of $50.2 million. “The family and I are going to be able to stay and be your basketball coach for a long, long time,” Pearl said. “I’m grateful. I’m humbled and I’m blessed to be your coach.”
There will also be time to squeeze in some Scottish Premiership action, as Dundee United welcome champions Rangers to Tannadice Park on the afternoon of Sunday 20 February (13:55 LIVE on ESPN 2).
Rangers will be hoping that Ivorian Amad Diallo, who is on loan from Manchester United, brings something extra to their attack through to the end of the 2021-22 campaign. “He’s had a great start to his career. He made a really good move to Manchester United when he was still a really young player,” said ‘Gers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst. “He hasn’t played much and he’s a player who needs to play to develop, but we all see his qualities and what he can bring to us. I’m excited to work with him for the rest of the season.”
