Over 20.000 mourners attending the burial of the late were hit with shock after an angry whirlwind blew away the tent housing his casket on Friday afternoon.

The wind that attacked suddenly, targeted only one tent isolated in the middle of Ajuri Primary School ,Ajuri village, Lalogi Sub-county where the burial ceremony for his send off was underway.

It was too strong that the pallbearers guarding the casket failed to hold the tent firm. The whirlwind swept away funeral wreaths on top of the casket and displacing chairs.

The incident that lasted for close to 45 minutes attracted screams from the public who largely believe the ghost was haunting to put forward a message.

Shortly after, the younger brother to the late Jacob Oulanyah Francis Emuna said the incident that happened was not ordinary.

Muzei Okori trashes medical report

Prior to all the above, the grieving father to the late Speaker of Parliament Rt .Hon Oulanyah dismissed the medical report given by the Minister of Health indicating that he died from multiple organ failure due to cancer.

Muzei Nathan L’Okori told thousands of mourners that the deceased confined in him that he was poisoned and his health worsened as a result.

L’okori who spoke in the local dialect said his bitterness was with purpose because he is aware his son didn’t die of natural causes but was poisoned.

“I’m not mourning in vain. I want to say it clearly. Jacob was poisoned. He told me. The poison affected his health so much and by the time he was flown out for treatment, it was too late. He could not recover” Okori, said

Following his comments, the leader of the  Acholi Parliamentary group Anthony Akol, has asked the government to investigate the allegations made by Oulanyah’s father. Akol says the matter has been risen before but people were silenced with threats of arrest.

“This is not the first time we have heard about this, I remember we raised this to the President, please inform the president to ensure that an investigation is done, The President talked about arresting people who talked about it but let him not and arrest anyone , otherwise you will miss the point,” he said
