Roma and Feyenoord
The inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League final takes place on Wednesday, with Roma and Feyenoord battling it out for the trophy at the National Stadium in Tirana, Albania.
Roma booked their spot in the final with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Leicester City, while Feyenoord punched their ticket to the showpiece with a 3-2 aggregate win against Marseille.
Roma and Feyenoord are the two highest-scoring teams in the competitions, meaning the final is set to be an exciting clash between two attacking sides.
Let’s start by looking at Roma, who played their final Serie A game of the season on Friday – beating Torino 3-0 thanks to a brace from Tammy Abraham.
Abraham has now scored 26 goals across all competitions this season, including eight in 11 Europa Conference League appearances.
Jose Mourinho’s side enjoyed a 12-game unbeaten streak in Serie A between January and April before swiftly enduring a five-game winless run. However, they finished the campaign on a high note.
In the Conference League, Roma finished atop Group C before dispatching Vitesse (2-1), Bodo/Glimt (5-2) and Leicester (2-1) to secure a spot in the inaugural final.
As for Feyenoord, they finished the Dutch Eredivisie season in third place – ten points behind second-place PSV and 12 points behind champions Ajax.
Arne Slot’s side looked set to enjoy an unbeaten end to the campaign after picking up five wins in six games, but they suffered a 2-1 loss to Twente on the final day.
Feyenoord enjoyed an unbeaten group-stage campaign in the Conference League before seeing off Partizan (8-3), Slavia Prague (6-4) and Marseille (3-2) in the knockout phase.
Having netted ten goals in 12 Conference League appearances, Feyenoord’s Cyriel Dessers is the competition’s top scorer. Could he fire his side to glory?
Head-to-head: Roma and Feyenoord met in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 back in the back 2014-15 season.
Roma triumphed on the back occasion, drawing 1-1 on home soil before winning the second leg 2-1 in the Netherlands.

Team news: Roma look set to be without attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Wednesday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
On the flip side, Feyenoord currently have four players out injured Justin Bijlow, Tyrell Malacia, Reiss Nelson and Gernot Trauner.
