Former Masaza forward Steven Mukwala still in search of the next club which he will play for next season as it is yet to be known, a number of clubs from different corners of the world are chasing for his signature.

Mukwala is yet to renew his stay at URA FC following the expiry of his two year contract at the end of the last season and it appears he might not renew as he seeks for greener pastures elsewhere.

The former Edgars youth program player forward recently flew out of the country quietly to Thailand for a possible move before returning after failed negotiations as the club (not identified) wasn’t willing to give sign on fees despite a decent salary thus the deal failing to materialize.

This is the reason the player returned back to Uganda, since then, a number of clubs have continued chasing for his signature with Ghana giants Asante Kotoko leading the race from among several clubs interested in him.

The Ghanians are reportedly offering 50,000 USD sign on fees for the player who is yet to be moved by the offer given the other offers at stake.

It should be recalled that Asante Kotoko showed much interest with Mukwala in 2020 before he chose URA FC before them.

Uganda Premier champions KCCA FC who are 13 time champions of the league are the other side that are reportedly monitoring the goal machine.
