The police in the eastern district of Kamuli in Busoga region are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a thirty year old woman.
Zam Nangobi was a resident of Namisu-Mawembe village, Kibuye parish, Kagumba sub- county in Kamuli District but sources say that the previous night, she had an encounter with a man only identified as Ronald. The man is the driver of a one Hassan. Sources note that upon reaching the district, Ronald asked Hassan’s girlfriend, Joweri, to hook him up with a babe for a night.
That’s how Nangobi, a prominent thigh vendor came in the mix, agreeing to the terms and conditions. At around 09:00pm, Ronald together with, Nangobi, now deceased went to the lodge in the same area where they secured accommodation.
However, at around 01:00 am, Ronald ran to Hassan who was at his girlfriend’s place to inform him that Nangobi had passed on. Immediately, they drove away to a destination yet to be established.
“The lifeless body of the deceased was found at the scene and taken to Kamuli general hospital mortuary for postmortem,” ASP Michael Kasadha Micheal, the Busoga North Police Spokesperson says.
