Viral video forcing minors
Three teachers of Vision Academy and Nursery School in Mpigi district are in hot sauce for recording a viral video clip of two minors doing oral sex in class.
The suspects who have since fled into thin air have only been identified as teacher Juliet, Teddy and Madam Kuku. Teacher Juliet is said to have recorded the clip where the tots – a boy and girl are being were forced to undress and do sexual stuff in-front of the teachers.
The viral video shows the duo clad in their school uniform kneeling before teachers questioning them for doing bad manners at school. One teacher, holding a long stick is heard rudely pressurizing the girl to re-do scenes that landed them in trouble. Out of fear, the girl leans forward, pulls up her dress and lies on the ground as the boy licks her private part. The panicking tots also reveal four other learners who taught them the acts before they are flogged as the video ends.
This video attracted public attention and calls for the school to be shut down over the uncouth manner in which the teachers tormented children and exposed their faces to the public.
According to Fred Enanga, the Uganda Police Spokesperson, the teachers on the run committed child abuse by exposing the children to sexual acts under duress, beating them and recording a video clip where children admitted to playing sex.
“It was painful to see the children admitting to playing sex. It was also very shameful for teachers to cause the young girl to pull down her pants, lean on her back, lift her dress and the boy was told to put his face on the genital area. You cant take children through this, as teachers you are supposed to nurture, tame nursery kids,” he said
He adds that it has since been established that a total of six kindergarten children aged between 3 and 6 years have been performing the same act. He says following the shameful viral clips, police teams from Nsanju and Bujjukko managed to locate the school where they talked to the children but arrived after the guilty teachers had all fled.

Enanga says that the District Education Officer has been directed to do an audit into activities at the school as investigations proceed. He further says the head teacher only identified as Mulangira was also briefly summoned to record statements on activities happening under his nose as investigations commence.
