If you will want to see, touch and feel Kampala women, and how many they will be, you need to be alive by 2030.
This is because the latest statistics show that Kampala will have a population of 1, 927, 400 million people by 2030.
Currently, Kampala has a population of 1, 738, 600 – 823, 500 (men) and 915, 100 (women).
But according to Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) statistics, Kampala alone will have 912, 100 (men) and 1, 015, 300 (women) by 2030.
The figures will have grown from 995, 600 (female) and 894, 700 (male) in 2028 and 873, 400 (male) and 971, 100 (women) in 2026.
Further figures show that Fort Portal City will have few women (68, 500) and 66, 900 (men) by 2030.
Statistics show that Mbarara City will have a population of 260, 900 by 2030 against the current 229, 800. In 2030, Mbarara will have 128 male and 132, 000 female population. Currently, the Western City has 113, 100 male and 116, 700 female population.
Data shows that Lira City will have 144, 100 male and 160, 000 female population by 2030 while Arua will have 215, 000 male and 235, 000 female by 2030.
Further, Mbale city is projected to have a 193, 500 male and 221, 900 female population by 2030.
UBOS figures show that Jinja City will a total population of 299, 100 by 2030. Of these, 146, 700 will be men and 152, 400 women. Currently, the Busoga City has 133, 500 men and 140, 000 women population.
According to UBOS, Masaka will have a population of 262, 100 people by 2030 – 128, 100 men and 134, 000 female. Currently, Masaka has a population comprising 112, 900 male and 120, 100 female.
