Pallaso drops Gwavawa

If there is one artist who has worked hard for singularity and deservedly earned recognition, it must be Pallaso. Gone are the days when you people had to attach his elder bro’s name and music legend, Jose Chameleone, while describing him.

For example, they could say; “Muganda wa Chameleone Pallaso alesse oluyimba olupya,” for the audience to give him attention. It is no longer the case! The self-styled King of The East, Sucker Free Boss has consistently built a star image, calmly yet deliberately.

Pallaso has ensured that every audio or video brings a touch of class, that every craft of his proves he is not just another Ugandan artiste, but a star!

In the video of latest love jam, Gwavawa, the back to back Zzina Awards Artist of The Year, brings that ultimate minimalism.

He settles for two locations; an indoor scene and an outdoor scene. And he limits the interaction to two people; the vixen and him. And together, they work their magic. One senses that comfort, that connection between the two.

You will love the beginning scenes; where the vixen joins him on the bridge as he straddles the bike. Pallaso’s smile, and the focus it is granted. With the indoor scenes, there are those surprise turn-ups in the kitchen. The kind of surprises when his lover shows up unannounced and joins him on the sofa.

Should we fuss about the professional camera angles and the lighting too? A memorable video!
