Bebe Cool has fired back at fellow artists who criticized him over his recent remarks about controlling media airplay, branding them as “slow thinkers.”

Last week, during a TikTok live session, Bebe Cool sparked controversy when he claimed to have strong connections with top media bosses, suggesting he could influence which songs get airplay.

His comments quickly garnered backlash from fellow musicians and fans who accused him of arrogance and monopolizing the industry.

A day later, Bebe Cool attempted to clarify his remarks, saying his words had been misunderstood. He urged artists to concentrate on producing quality music and making smart investments rather than getting caught up in petty debates. However, his explanation did little to calm the storm, as criticism from the music fraternity continued to pour in.

Speaking again over the weekend in an interview with Galaxy TV, Bebe took a firmer stance, dismissing his critics and emphasizing he won’t waste time on people who fail to understand his point.

“The problem with Ugandans is they always focus on the negative instead of learning. I won’t waste my time on those that are slow. I’ll go with the fast thinkers. Musicians are full of disrespect, despite the fact that they don’t even understand what I’m saying. I don’t have the time for slow thinkers,” he lashed out.
