“I Took Their Money. So What?” — Fugitive Flexes While Victims Cry Foul

One minute he’s popping bottles at VIP lounges and hosting music events, the next — he’s Uganda’s slickest scammer-on-the-run.

We have learned that flashy socialite Don Chris (real name Christian Asiimwe) is now wanted by police in connection with a massive international job scam that’s left scores of Ugandans broke, betrayed, and pissed off.

Don Chris, known for his loud fashion, louder parties, and Skypins Tours and Travel, is accused of pulling off one of the boldest cons in recent memory — selling fake overseas jobs to desperate young Ugandans dreaming of a better life.

Police say his company ran slick ads promising high-paying gigs in Canada, the UK, Qatar, Dubai, and Luxembourg. Hundreds of hopefuls reportedly paid between Shs3.5M and Shs10M each, thinking they were on the fast track to a first-class ticket out of Uganda.

Spoiler: There were NO jobs. NO flights. Just heartbreak.

At least 85 victims have already filed reports with Kampala Metropolitan Police, and the damage? A staggering Shs500 million.

And while victims weep, guess what Don Chris is doing? Laughing. Online.

In a now-infamous social media post, the self-proclaimed boss CONFESSED — and basically told everyone to get over it. “I did not call anyone to bring their money to me,” he smugly wrote. Oh — and he added that he has no plans to pay anyone back.

That’s not all… he says he’s already skipped the country.

Sources close to the investigation tell us that authorities believe Don Chris fled shortly after complaints began piling up. And despite public outcry, he’s been posting cryptic stories and flexing abroad, showing off his signature “catch me if you can” energy.

The scandal has now reached Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Balaam Barugahara, who’s getting flooded with petitions. The matter has been handed over to the city’s top CID officials.

Meanwhile, victims are left in financial ruin, begging for justice — while Don Chris is somewhere in the world living his best villain life.
