King Saha recently raised eyebrows after dishing out some “fatherly advice” to fast-rising star Joshua Baraka, warning the young artist to “focus on the local market first before chasing international fame.”

“They shouldn’t pump him too much, they’ll lead him astray,” Saha said. “He needs to leave the Ugandan audience content and fulfilled, then attack the bigger audience outside.”
While Saha may have meant well, his comments didn’t sit well with fans — and now, music heavyweight Bebe Cool has stepped into the ring to throw his own lyrical jabs!
Speaking out in defense of Baraka — with whom he collaborated on the chart-topping Break The Chains album — Bebe Cool didn’t hold back.

“Saha shouldn’t be causing you a headache,” Bebe fired. “His focus is local. It’s always about the dream, and that’s his.”
The reggae and dancehall icon didn’t stop there. In a scathing clapback, Bebe made it clear that no artist should police another’s ambitions.
“We shouldn’t decide for people how they want to approach their careers,” he continued. “Saha should focus on what works for him and leave Baraka to chase his dream.”

The streets are buzzing as fans pick sides — Team Local Loyalty or Team Global Dream?
Joshua Baraka, whose star continues to rise on international platforms, has yet to publicly comment on the saga, but one thing’s for sure — his name is now firmly in the middle of Uganda’s latest music showdown.
Stay tuned for more tea as this music feud unfolds…
