Comedian Patrick Salvado has finally set the record straight about his wife, Daphine Frankstock, after months of whispers and wild speculation about her relocation to Canada.

In late 2024, the rumor mill went into overdrive with claims that Daphine had “abandoned” her family in search of greener pastures abroad. But Salvado, never one to dodge a punchline or a controversy, has revealed the real story, and it’s far from the scandal people imagined.
According to the comedian, Daphine’s move was a mutual decision, fueled not by marital strife but by her pursuit of personal fulfilment.
“Greener pastures doesn’t mean wherever you are is bad,” Salvado explained. “I might be doing well here, but my wife wasn’t. She was missing something in her.”
The funnyman admitted that his celebrity status became a curse for Daphine’s career prospects in Uganda. Employers, he says, feared hiring her, worried that if anything went wrong, the outspoken star would publicly shame them.
“I failed to get my wife a job here because of my popularity,” Salvado confessed. “I became more of a burden than a blessing.”
With encouragement from Salvado’s sisters already living abroad, Daphine packed her bags for Canada, a move that has surprisingly strengthened their marriage.

Today, Salvado beams with pride as he reveals that his wife is thriving:
“She’s doing well, very happy, and the marital problems we had are no more. We are very okay.”
So while critics whispered “trouble in paradise,” it turns out paradise just moved continents and for the Salvados, love is not lost but reborn across the Atlantic.
