Fans love rivalry but singer Ava Peace is having none of it. The reigning Artist of the Year has stepped forward to set the record straight: her biggest musical muse isn’t Sheebah Karungi, as many fans assume, but Winnie Nwagi, the Fire Baby herself.

For months, social media pundits have painted Ava as a “Sheebah 2.0,” claiming she was strategically molded to challenge the Queen Karma, especially since she’s managed by Sheebah’s former manager. But according to Ava, that story is pure fiction… the kind that should stay in fan group chats.

“People keep saying I’m like Sheebah, but my inspiration has always been Winnie Nwagi,” Ava clarified, adding that while she deeply respects Sheebah, she’s carving her own musical lane.

And just in case anyone was hoping for a feud to fuel their timelines, Ava made sure to pull the plug on that fantasy too. She says there’s no bad blood between her and Sheebah, any “tension” floating online is nothing more than fan-made fireworks.

The singer, known for her sultry vocals and bold stage presence, believes Uganda’s music industry is big enough for everyone to shine without being turned into rival teams.

“Every artist should be appreciated individually instead of being pitted against each other,” she added.

With each new release, Ava Peace continues to prove that she’s not a copy of anyone but she’s writing her own chorus in Uganda’s evolving pop story.

And if her rise is anything to go by, the peace she’s preaching might just come with a few chart-toppers attached.
