He has barely made three years into the vigorous Ugandan music industry, but there is no doubt Ykee Benda is One of Uganda’s biggest music exports we have at the moment.
The naughty Singer swept music lovers off their feet with he’s grand breath through song ‘farmer’ a collaboration he did with the queen of the area Sheebah and since then the ‘’Boy from Kireka’’ has never looked back.
The 26 year old who just got a hefty deal to perform at year’s world cup in Russia is however not shy to reveal where he got inspiration to start singing and according to him the late Mowzey Radio did a lot in shaping up his career.’’Mowzey Radio was an inspiration to me.Most of my lyrics and the way I write have a lot to do with he’s song’’ Ykee Revealed through an exclusive interview
