Police in Jinja has thrown into custody a coldblooded man accused of raping over 60 women after tricking them into believing he had jobs for them.
Robert Wanyama alias Jackson Wakodo, a resident of Busia district confessed to forcefully bonking these women and compiling a list of his prey in a personal notebook.
Wanyama acknowledged that he always approached his prey by convincing them of Job opportunities at Fuel petrol stations in Mbale City and Busia district before dragging them into a nearby bush on their way to the alleged job and forcibly chewing their beans.
Charles Twine, the Spokesperson of the Criminal Investigations Directorate says Wakodo has also been accused of kidnap and human trafficking.
He says Wakodo ‘s luck run out when he was busted for reportedly kidnapped 2 girls, an 18-year-old student in Iganga district and her friend. He later commanded a ransom of Shillings 500,000.
Police send out a team from Police Flying Squad Unit, CID, and CMI to trace the suspect using the mobile money number provided by the kidnapper to be used to receive the ransom.

The suspect is currently locked up at Jinja Police Division pending transfer to Kampala for further investigations before he appears in court on charges of rape, kidnap, trafficking in persons as well as aggravated robbery.
