Out spoken Presidential Press Secretary Don Wanyama has controversially come out and claimed that Bobi Wine and his team were behind the powerful teargas blast that went off behind his back yesterday afternoon while campaigning in Kayunga District.

Following yesterday’s nasty confrontation between the Uganda Police and the National Unity supporters, there is a video that has since emerged  showing a powerful blast going off at the back of Kyadondo East Member of parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine.

In the video Bobi Wine is seen seeking explanations from the area Commanders after several of his crew members got injured during the day scuffle with Police.

As he was continuing to engage the high ranking officers in a some what peaceful discussion , a powerful blast went off behind his back and it’s strong force of velocity made him to bend down and hide under the car.

The video has since made rounds on social media and as usual people have come up with conspiracy theories with some claiming that the Police had a hidden plan to injure Bobi Wine.

And now to sarcastically pour cold water on all the theories making rounds, senior presidential press secretary Don Wanyama has come out and claimed that Bobi Wine and his team were behind the powerful blast and that one of the guys in NUP is actually the one who set it off.

”There we go. The fellow who “tulisad” the canister, which Bobi Wine fanatics claim targeted his life.Its an in-house script just that yesterday, it went awry. Too much acting, unsurprisingly. But like we say, it will end in tears” Don Wanyama said
