Police in Kawempe, Kampala are investigating a 20 yr old security guard for shooting dead his 50-year-old colleague using an ak47 rifle.
Kiiza Charles, a Security guard at Robert site, and a resident of kiyaga zone Bwaise murdered 50 year, Abala Samson Mutalesa,in cold blood under unclear circumstances.
Kiiza reportedly waited for Abala to fall into a deep sleep before pulling out his fire weapon and killing him instantly.
Eyewitnesses at the scene immediately alerted the Kawempe police who were swift enough to show up at the scene, taking Kiiza into custody.
Kampala Metropolitan deputy police mouthpiece Luke Owoyesigyire says Kiiza is still being held at Kawempe Police station on allegations of murder while police investigate further.
Owoyesigyire adds that police visited the scene and recovered a rifle with one round of ammunition, a cartridge which will be used as an exhibit.
