A 52-year old man has escaped death after he was caught red-handed in bed with his daughter-in-law at Nakawoizaa village, Buyanga sub-county in Bugweri.
The suspect whose names have been withheld was battered by an angry mob of locals who found him in his Son’s bed naked and in the company of the daughter-in-law.
The locals claim they had suspected for a while that the 2 were having a sexual affair after the father-in-law started frequent visits to the daughter-in-law‘s house in the absence of his son.
The area LC1 Chairman Tibiita Kitaita says locals sneaked into the house that was reportedly unlocked while the 2 were in action and grabbed the old man out of the house naked before flogging him to a pulp.
However, police were notified of the incident and swung into action, arresting the old man and his daughter-in-law.
