Man Dies Mysteriously
Locals in Kalangala are stuck with the body of a 37-year-old man who died mysteriously at a shrine.
Salongo Kalyango Zolo aged 37, a father of 4 children and a resident of Nakibanga landing site in Kyamuswa Sub County Kalangala District first told his friends while drinking alcohol in a bar that he was going to die instantly.
While heading back home from the bar on Wednesday evening, Kalyango collapsed and was pronounced dead an hour later at a shrine where he was taken.
Balemeezi Joseph, an eye witness and a resident of the Nakibanga landing site told our reporter that Kalyango was first rushed to a witch doctor where he breathed his last.
Man Dies Mysteriously
Kalyango had separated from his wife 6 years back and has been living with his 4 children, the oldest of whom is a son aged 11 years.
Kalyango has no known relatives to direct locals to his ancestral home grounds making it harder to burry him.
Also none of residents knows the where about of his divorced wife.
Police promised to conduct investigations to establish the cause of death, but nothing has so far been reported.
Meanwhile the Kalangala Central Police Station CID Yashaba Chris on the matter though the phone call went unanswered for several times.
