Minister Ogwang has told Lawyer Male Mabirizi he will wait for Parliament to give him access to his academic papers.
Minister Ogwang, state minister of economic affairs in the office of the President, has sent Lawyer Mabirizi invite to his offices on Tuesday following his claims he has information that Prime Minister Robinah Nabanja and selected 15 cabinet and ministers of state do not have Advanced Level qualifications.
Minister Peter Ogwang took to Twitter displaying a letter by the controversial lawyer to Parliament seeking for permission from the Clerk to Parliament to access the academic papers of the selected cabinet and ministers of state.
Minister Ogwang took to his Twitter account to invite the Kampala lawyer to his office to officially approve of his academic qualifications.
Ogwang tweeted: “Mr. Mabirizi, I have volunteered to give you my academic documents for your perusal on Tuesday without any court order. Please come to my office at 10am, it’s on 5th Floor, Office of the President. Certain things should always be put to bed once and for all.”
In his letter, he demanded: “Without prejudice to my legal challenges against approval of Prime Minister, Cabinet & Ministers of State for the 2021-2026 term, I request for copies of academic documents as submitted for approval by;
