KCCA to extend
Table leaders KCCA FC visit 12th placed Onduparaka on the league table in match day 13 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
KCCA FC are still unbeaten after 12 games played so far this term in the league. whereas hosts Onduparaka have won two games, shared spoils six times and lost four games so far.
The caterpillars have scored 11 goals, conceded 14 and have a deficit of three goals difference with 12 points.
KCCA FC on the other hand have won eight, shared spoils four times and are yet to lose a game this term.
The 13 times Uganda Premier League Champions have scored 21 goals and conceded eight and have a goal difference of +13 with 28 points.
“We have come here with a purpose. We want to pick points from Onduparaka. They are a good side especially when home. We have spoken about our issue of not converting chances with the players and tried to work on it in training. If we can get more clinical infront of goal then we can be unstoppable.” kcca fc manager Morley Byekwaso.
In the last nine games played between both sides. KCCA FC has won seven, Onduparaka once and both sides have shared spoils once.
KCCA has scored 29 goals while Onduparaka have scored four goals in the last nine games against KCCA.
Teenager Elvis Eddy Mwanje traveled with the team. The academy graduate is part of the match day squad to feature against Onduparaka FC.
Dennis Iguma was granted leave to attend to a family issue after asking for coach’s permission to baptise his child on Boxing Day.
Yasser Mugerwa, Geofrey Wasswa, Peter Magambo, Julius Poloto are ruled out of the game against the caterpillars due to injuries.
Wasswa Emmanuel and Kayanja Brian remain long term absentees for KCCA fc due to injury.
