Locals in Busia District are still in utter shock after a naked primary school teacher was captured red-handed smashing a 15 year old pupil under a mango tree.
The suspect Moses Wejuli, a teacher at Bukalikha primary school in Masafu sub-county was nabbed by locals in Bumwenge village around 9:00 PM on Tuesday having sex with the teenager close to her parent’s home but managed to getaway.
The girl reportedly left home shortly after supper and disappeared for a while, prompting her parents to search for her. The parents, while moving with a flashlight heard disturbing noises coming from the mango tree and dashed to see the activity happening there, to their shock , it was the teacher half-naked with his clothes hanging on a mango doing it with their child.
Stephen Wafula, the LC 2 chairperson of Buhatuba parish and the victims parent , says they sounded an alarm attracting locals but the teacher managed to escape. He says locals have since threatened to lynch the suspect fearing that he might have rotated the village using their daughters in a similar manner.

The teacher has since been reported missing and his phones remain switched off. Wafula says the matter is before the police and a hunt is currently ongoing fro the suspect.
Milton Ojambo, the headteacher of Bukalikha primary school says they have also registered a complaint from the girl’s parents, adding that they are yet to establish the facts of the case since the teacher didn’t report to school.
