Man strangles lover to death
Police in Kampala Metropolitan has launched investigations into circumstances under which a woman was discovered dead at home, hanging on a piece of cloth.
The deceased Nakimuli Maggie ,19, a mother to a two-year-old child, and resident of Nabweru south cell 3 was reportedly found by her husband at 3:00 am on Tuesday morning.
It is alleged that the deceased’s husband Nsonzi Hussein woke up in the wee hours of the morning and found the wife hanging on the cloth, he reportedly sounded an alarm out of shock prompting the presence of neighbours.

However, locals allege that the couple has been engage in domestic fights recently, they claim to have heard the couple fighting in the middle of that fateful night.Eye witnesses allege that Nsonzi threw the deceased’s phone a water channel, following a bitter fight that supposedly led to her demise.
Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Mouthpiece Luke Owoyesigyire told Galaxy FM reporter Minah Nalule that the deceased’s body was observed to have strangulation marks. He adds that a phone belonging to the deceased was later picked up by the local Area Defence Secretary by police detectives.
“Hussein has been arrested on allegations of Murder as investigations to discover the exact cause of death continue. The body was taken to city mortuary Mulago for Postmortem. More details will be availed as soon as possible.” Owoyesigyire said
