Minister urges players

The State Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan affairs Hon. Kabuye Kyofatogabye met the KCCA Board, Management, Technical Team and Players of KCCA FC at Hotel Africana, Kampala.

According to the kcca fc website, this was the first time the players were physically meeting with the Minister who represented the Cabinet Minister Hon. Hajjati Minsa Kabanda at the event.

Players were urged to develop and strengthen the skills and abilities that will help them to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world when they hang up their playing boots.

“We, as the Ministry for Kampala do follow what you do and we pledge continued support to KCCA FC. We believe that we are the best in the region and we must exemplify that on and off the pitch. We urge the players and staff members to develop and strengthen the skills and abilities that will help them to survive, adapt and thrive in a fast changing world especially after active football. The Government shall continue to support the Youth through various programs like Parish Development Model and NAADS”, Hon. Kabuye Kyofatogabye while speaking at the event said

The Mayor for Makindye Division, His Worship Ali Kasirye Nganda who represented the Lord Mayor for Kampala while giving his remarks said, “I would like to thank the Hon. Minister and KCCA for the continued support towards KCCA FC. We request for more support especially towards developing the welfare of the players and staff members of the club”

The Board Chairman Martin Ssekajja in his remarks said, “We are grateful for the support towards the club from the Ministry for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs and we continue to yearn for more support especially towards infrastructure development and staff welfare. The stadium construction is steadily progressing and we are grateful for the support from the Ministry for Kampala that has and is still supporting this project”
