Weasel appears for first show since beating up Sandra amidst tight security as he fears fans might turn on him

Last night, embattled local singer Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo made a surprise appearance at Cubana Bar and Lounge in Munyonyo boldly ignoring all the circus going on around him at the moment.

Weasel, who had come to show his elder brother Chameleone support at his Legends Nyota Concert, ended up performing some of his old songs with departed friend Mowzey Radio.

However, despite Weasel’s boldness in turning up at a public event at a time when people are angry at him for beating up a woman, he just didn’t leave things to chance as he beefed up his security detail way before he arrived at the venue.

Videos captured by our snoops on ground last night show a couple of able bodied men and hired private security guards escorting the ‘Tokyayitaba’ hit maker on stage, perhaps a hint that Weasel knew exactly what he was getting himself into by the time he accepted to come to the venue.

It should be noted that ever since reports came out that the singer has been assaulting his partner Sandra Teta, the public has constantly been calling for his immediate arrest.
