Even though Juliana Kanyomozi is no longer hitting in Uganda, her impact on the growth of East African Music is still being felt and appreciated elsewhere. Diamond Platnumz’ station Wasafi TV played Juliana’s all-time classic “Usiende Mbali” featuring Tanzania’s Bushoke.
Diamond’s mother Sandra posted a photo of her seated in the control room, while The Princess’ love song played on.
Such a powerful gesture by the Wasafi team it is. We hope for more.
