KCCA FC host Vipers SC on match day four of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2022/23 at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Vipers SC will be making a short trip on Saturday to Lugogo to take on rivals, KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in the Uganda Premier League.

KCCA FC lost 3-1 to Arua Hill SC away at Barifa Stadium, Arua in the second league game a fortnight ago while Vipers will be playing their second league game for the 2022/23 season.

The Venoms picked a point in their opening league game against Bright Stars FC at home. Vipers SC has not scored nor conceded a goal in normal time in their last three games in all competitions.

KCCA FC has three points from two games in the league this season and in the last 25 games between KCCA FC and Vipers SC, both sides have shared spoils seven times.

Hosts KCCA FC have won six times against Vipers SC in the last 25 meetings and Vipers have won 12 times against KCCA FC in the last 25 meetings.

“We don’t expect one easy game. We just have to be ready for work and for the hardest work,” said the Brazilian while addressing Vipers Media.

The tactician also added that the freshly acquired duo of Garcia Mpongo Mbombo and Darcy Mbaka Kipoyi has gelled well with the squad.

The Venoms managed a 2-1 victory last season at Lugogo. Cesar Manzoki’s header levelled matters, before Milton Karisa sealed the win.

KCCA Fc and Vipers

Julius Poloto, Rogers Mato, and Denis Iguma are back in the squad. The trio is yet to play a game this season. They are available for selection.

Emmanuel Wasswa is back in the squad. The midfielder returned to training last week from compassionate leave that ruled him out of the previous league game against Arua Hill.
