Father hacks 13- year -old
Police in Kasese have arrested a distressed man for attempting to hack his biological daughter to death over school fees.
The suspect Emmanuel Muhindo, a resident of Nyabibwa Village, Rukoki sub-county in Kasese district reportedly attacked his teenage girl with a machete while she was asleep and inflicted grave injuries on her before she was rescued by relatives.
Muhindo hacked his daughter on the hands and face causing her to be admitted at Katadoba Muslim health Centre IV in Kasese Municipality.
He accused the girl (names withheld) of getting on his nerves by constantly demanding school fees to join senior one just like her peers.

Muhindo claims he had enough of the ‘stress’ and wanted to get rid of his child in order to get peace of mind.
Nelson Tumushiime, the Rwenzori East Region police spokesperson, says that police have preferred a charge of causing grievous harm against the errant father.
“Its alleged that the daughter finished primary seven and is supposed to go to senior one. So she tried to demand for school fees and requirements but this angered the father who turned aganist her and caused grievous harm to her body. ” He said
The selection exercise for Senior One (S1) students happened on February 2 and 3 respectively- at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) Exhibition Hall.
