MAK graduates police, military officers
Makerere University has on Friday graduated a number of security officers from the Uganda police and Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).
The University concluded the 73rd graduation ceremony that lasted five days from Monday 13th to Friday 17th February 2023. A total of 13,221 graduated from the College of Health Sciences (CHS),College of Natural Sciences (CoNAS), School of Law (SoL),College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES)
College of Education and External Studies (CEES),College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CoCIS),College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Bio-security (CoVAB).
On Thursday, students from Makerere University Business School(MUBS) also graduated.
Today ,Friday, 17th February, 2023 others graduated in College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) and College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS).
Proffessor Barnabas Nawangwe, the Makerere University Vice Chancellor announced that 49 officers from the Uganda Military Academy in Kabamba graduated in Bachelor of Defence Studies(BODs), Senior Miltary officers from the Senor Command and Staff College Kimaka who graduated in Masters in Defence and Security Studies from Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
And a total 21 Senior Police officers conferred Masters degree in Peace and Conflict Studies of Makerere University.
