For a few days now, a Ugandan journalist based in the United States, Remmy Bahati, is having a rought time over the social media. It all started when Gen. Muhoozi Karinerugaba, in a tweet’ described the journalist as “ugly”
It also emerged that after the heated Twitter disagreement, the good General blocked Bahati.
“Why did the chicken block his friend on Twitter? Because he kept tweeting egg-cellent puns that were too hard to shell out! But seriously, why has General Muhoozi blocked an ugly woman for no good reason?” Bahati said.
It is here that Daudi Kabanda, Gen. Muhoozi’s Movement (MK Movement) deputy Spokesperson said: “I would advise that you to just keep quiet, otherwise we know alot about you. Don’t provoke us to remind you what you did during the UNAA conference in Chicago.”

“Daudi Kabanda, the use of blackmail and negative tactics is not a good way to engage in political discourse. I do not wish to engage in such behavior. However, I am more than happy to engage in a civil debate about the priorities of General Muhoozi who wants to lead the country…” Bahati shot back at Kabanda.
Being the one that does lose easily, Kabanda returned with a bang.
“Well, no nobody will debate u on any serious issues Coz it serves no purpose. We know who to debate with & the issues that concern them. We don’t debate blackmailers like yourself who have sold their souls for the sake of justifying the fake reasons to support ur asylum status. The issues Gen @mkainerugaba stands for are clear & it’s to defend Uganda against all imperialistic interests, at the chagrin of characters like you. I am not blackmailing you . I am only calling out your posturing tactics while smearing others. If you want civility be civil yourself. Stop falsehoods & defamation against people. Being a slave in the USA makes you no better person than anybody. Don’t get offended when u get Paid in the same currency. We know who u are, your posturing notwithstanding. Those who support & Love Gen @mkainerugaba surely know the issues he stands for . We have no time to waste on justifying the MK agenda to Subjective & deceitful minds like yourself not willing to decipher logic.”
