ONC boss, Uzeiye, in drive against unemployment
The office of the national chairman ONC Headed by the chief muzukulu Hajjati Namyalo Uzeiye yesterday embarked on unveiling new strategies to mitigate the issue of unemployment in different districts by donating chicks, maize brand and goats.
This initiative started in the areas of Greater Luweero where Hajjati Namyalo donated over 30000 chicks, maize brand of 8000 kgs and 80 goats each in three areas which include Kikyuusa, Zirobwe and Luweero town council.
This, after the president of Uganda President Yoweri Kaguta Nuseveni put emphasis on agriculture in order for people to overcome poverty through farming in the four acre development model.

Before Hajjati Namyalo Uzeiye handing over the merchandise to different youths, they were first taught how they will be running the project.
Hajjati Uzeiye, however, advised the young people to work had in order to get out of poverty. He warned against selling off the donation.
However, residents were so excited about the initiative citing that the initiative is going to help them since most of them were stranded not knowing how to start, and which (starting) has been a main challenge.
Now the office of the national chairman (ONC) will be moving in different districts donating stuff for self employment. Through this, ONC will be monitoring how different people/groups will be progressing.
