In a heartwarming ceremony held in Kyeguluuso village in Mubende District, Ugandan music legend Bebe Cool officially handed over the keys to a newly constructed house to Bridgette Mirembe Namiyigo, a talented young TikToker.

This generous act is the culmination of a journey that began on October 25, 2024, when the music superstar announced that proceeds from his Tondeka e Kiwatule Boxing Day concert would support Bridgette’s cause, under his charity arm, the Amber Heart Foundation. As a result, he named the concert Tondeka E Kiwatule Tuzimbire Bridgette Enyumba.
Bridgette and her family’s new home sits on a 100-by-100 plot of land. It’s a three-bedroom house with a sitting room, dining room, and a store. In addition to the house, Bebe Cool provided a master bed, beds for eight children, a sofa set, center table, 10 mattresses, and beddings.

The journey to this moment was made possible through the collective efforts of Bebe Cool, his fans, and various partners who contributed to the cause. Construction of the house began on January 3, 2025, and has now been completed, providing Bridgette and her family with a safe and comfortable home.
Five-year-old Bridgette, her younger sibling, and their mother had been living in a dilapidated semi-detached house, which Bridgette cheekily referred to as “Geyeena” (hell).
But she and her family won’t have to live in “hell” anymore, thanks to Bebe Cool’s kindness and mobilization skills.
This act of generosity has not only improved Bridgette’s living conditions but also serves as an inspiration to others.
Speaking at the handover, Bebe Cool thanked partners who contributed to the construction of the house.
“I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to this initiative,” he said. He thanked Century Property Real Estates Uganda Limited, Erianah Hardware in Mubende, and DT Solar.
He also appreciated his fans, the Gagamel family, for their unwavering support, and the revelers who attended the Kiwatule event on Boxing Day.
He added:
“This achievement demonstrates that every small act counts, and sharing what little we have can bring joy and fulfillment. I’m thankful to all who gave and continue to give, and I pray that Allah blesses you abundantly.”

Bebe Cool’s dedication to giving back to the community has made a significant impact, demonstrating the power of kindness and generosity.
The handover ceremony was a celebration of the positive impact that can be made when individuals come together to support a common cause. Bebe Cool’s actions have shown that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone’s life.
For Bridgette and her family, this new home marks the beginning of a new chapter. They expressed their gratitude to Bebe Cool and all those who contributed to making it possible. The house will provide them with a safe and secure environment, allowing them to focus on their future and pursue their dreams.
Prayer Valley Ministry’s Pastor Everest Arinaitwe, speaking on behalf of Bridgette’s family, thanked Bebe Cool for his generous heart—not just for the house, but for giving the family and village hope.
“We thank Bebe Cool for his golden heart. He has not just built a home but has given us hope. He has given Bridgette not just shelter, but dignity and peace of mind,” he said.
