The Vice Chancellor Makerere University has thrown out three students accusing them of disrupting university activities.
In separate letters to the trio, the university names them as Dhabona Jobs, Kituno Daniel and Kigula Samuel.
Prof. Bernabas Nawangwe states in the suspension letters: “The students disrupted the Guild Representatives Council session, passing danger on the lives of the participants and causing damage to property of the university on 5th August 2018.
Prof. Nawangwe writes: “Your said illegal acts are in breach of the university policies and other national laws and give rise to both criminal and civil liability on your part. Despite severe engagements and warnings, they have failed to take heed.”
