MTN Uganda MTN Uganda has today officially announced its sponsorship of celebrated Ugandan rapper and performer Navio’s upcoming “Navio Live in Orchestra” concert, set to take place later this year. The sponsorship was confirmed during a press conference held at the MTN Uganda headquarters, attended by Navio, music stakeholders, and MTN officials.

MTN Uganda’s partnership with Navio spans over a decade, marked by his role as brand ambassador for the MTN Smart Series in 2016, the promotion of his music through CallerTunez and album releases, and his memorable performances at MTN-sponsored events such as the Hip Hop Awards and the Full Moon Party. Navio has also been featured in MTN campaigns like Pulse Rap Battles and MTN MoMo engagements, with his music consistently amplified across MTN’s digital platforms. This long-standing relationship highlights MTN’s belief in nurturing Ugandan talent and celebrating the artists who shape the nation’s cultural identity.

The “Navio Concert: The Orchestra Experience” concert will be the first of its kind in Uganda, presenting a unique blend of Hip Hop and orchestra. The event is expected to deliver a powerful showcase of artistry, passion, and culture. Speaking at the announcement, John Paul Okwi, MTN Uganda’s Events and Sponsorships Manager, said:

“After doing nine concerts, we knew we had to do something different for the 10th one. This is going to be my first concert in Serena, and it will be the first time we have an urban artist with an orchestra. Tickets to the concert are available through MTN MoMo at UGX 130,000 for early bird purchases. Standard cash tickets are priced at UGX 150,000, while VIP access is available at UGX 3,000,000. VVIP and Platinum experiences are also on offer at UGX 5,000,000 and UGX 10,000,000 respectively.
