Beti Kamya has no kind words to the party she co-founded.

Kamya quit the party when she failed to win over the support of senior members within the party for the post of party chairperson left vacant after the demise of Sulaiman Kiggundu in 2008.

The politician now a minister in charge of Kampala Capital City Authority, in an interview revealed: “This people in FDC have been criticizing NRM for allocating positions based on party interests. Exactly the same thing is happening.”

FDC Chief Patrick Oboi Amuriat announced a reshuffle last week leaving Winnie Kiiza and Abdu Katuntu out of their positions.

The reshuffle has divided opinion in the party with Dr. Kizza Besigye coming out to deny what many believe were his influence as the party reportedly moves to push out those who opposed defiance.
